Search & columns

Find products by name or SKU and customize which columns are visible in the grid.

Search and column controls sit above the import preview grid. They help you find specific products and tailor the grid to the task at hand.

Search products

Use the Search products field to filter rows by name or SKU.

How search works

  • Enter at least 3 characters before search runs.
  • Matching rows appear in the grid; non-matching rows are hidden while search is active.
  • Clear the field (using the × button or deleting text) to show all rows again.

Search is useful when:

  • A supplier file has thousands of rows and you need one SKU
  • You are verifying a fix applied to a specific product
  • You want to bulk edit or delete a subset you can identify by name or SKU

Search is especially powerful paired with Bulk edit: filter the file, select all matches, and fix every hit in one pass — even rows you never scrolled to.

Visible columns

Click the Visible columns button (showing a count like "8 columns") to open the column manager.

Show or hide columns

  • Check a column to show it in the grid.
  • Uncheck a column to hide it.
  • At least one column must remain visible.

Hiding columns reduces clutter when you are focused on fixing specific fields.

Reorder columns

Drag columns using the grip handle (⋮⋮) to reorder them. The grid reflects your preferred column order.

Search fields in the column picker

Use the search box inside the column dropdown to quickly find a field name when many columns are available.

Hidden fields appear in a separate Hidden fields section at the bottom of the dropdown for easy re-enabling.

Column visibility in special modes

During bulk edit, the grid may automatically focus on a subset of columns (product image, name, SKU, and your bulk edit target) so you can work efficiently. Return to normal mode for full column control.

Disabled during certain modes

Search and column controls may be disabled while bulk edit or delete mode is active to prevent conflicting interactions. Exit those modes to use search and columns again.
